This unusual name consists of two opposing elements that present near-irreconcilable contradictions:
LOFT, a term that originated in urban New York in the late twentieth century, the post-industrial era when an audacious architect would take an abandoned factory and inject it with new purpose, creating residences of extraordinary dimensions - a true metamorphosis…
VIGNERON, a French word that is ineluctably linked with the idea of "terroir", land, roots, tradition, the expression of the nobility of this highly demanding craft, whose skills and characteristics have become increasingly rare. Two terms totally foreign to each other – until the moment they came together to delineate a completely new concept.
The LOFTS VIGNERONS concept has its roots in this wine-growing area that has always been preserved from the ravages of industrialization. This concept has revitalized many abandoned wine premises, forging new links between their erstwhile authenticity and an intelligence that is rarely seen in today’s habitat.
The authentic lifestyle is intrinsic in the concept, with no pretences. Combining the roots of old traditions with the Bauhaus ideal, new values are created that allow traditional and contemporary approaches to cohabit in harmonious unity.
